Description
Fixed Knife Extrema Ratio KREIOS
We designed and developed the KREIOS with chief instructor Daniele Dal Cante of the FISSS (Italian Survival Federation), who called it “off-road” with sharp tools. So it is not a design intended for just one specific use, but an extremely versatile multi-purpose tool for a wide range of outdoor activities. Thanks to its ergonomics, weight and size, the KREIOS is highly effective at cutting a path through dense foliage, especially when a safe distance from thorny or otherwise dangerous vegetation is required. Thanks to its robustness, it also excels as a machete for heavy field work, for example when felling trees or chopping firewood. The length of its 12”¾” fully flat” blade combined with an 11° downward blade angle – to grip and a hefty 22 ½ oz. mass yield has exceptional cutting ability and very high tensile stress tolerance. Contemporary geometries and materials fuse with Malaysian and African traditions into a heavy-duty off-road work tool that doubles as a weapon of defense and offense in an emergency. Includes MOLLE system jacket and safety shoulder strap.
