This knife is elegant enough to wear with a dress while still being a fully capable cutting tool. This version features a single edge satin-finished Elmax blade and a blue, hard-anodized handle. Troodon is named after an avian dinosaur and is ready to attack.

Blade: The wide, recessed tip blade is honed with a single high-altitude saber sharpener and razor-sharpened for clean cutting performance. The Elmax blade steel was chosen for its high level of corrosion resistance, as well as exceptional edge retention and relatively easy sharpening. The bright, machined satin finish offers excellent performance and a very elegant appearance. It is switched on by means of a double-acting automatic mechanism. Simply push the side slider up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth.

Handle: Rugged, blue hard-anodized aircraft-grade alloy offers a handle just over 4.25 inches long, excluding the breaker, chunky enough for large hands without being cumbersome in the pocket. The knife is comfortable to hold in the hand, with shaped edges, while the wide jimping parts are perfectly positioned for a secure grip. It consists of a gray, proprietary Microtech hardware, an integrated glass break and a pocket clip.

Bohler Elmax: The Elmax has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user knives due to its extreme blade retention. Elmax also has good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid corrosion (rust) by simply wiping the blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. The Elmax has very similar performance to the M390 and is used interchangeably by Microtech.
