Fixed Knife Extrema Ratio SATRE STONE WASHED

Satre is a pocket knife, light and extremely durable with a fixed blade. Due to its features, it can be used in many different activities and areas, including survival and bushcraft, or it can be part of the EDC (Every Day Carry) kit. It was designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced instructor. Thanks to the Paracord 550 lanyard, it can be worn as a neck knife. In this way it is possible to keep it in a vertical position with the handle downwards. The preformed Kydex holster has eyelets that allow the use of a lanyard as well as an accessory holder. The ULTICLIP carrying solution will be available from January 2022 (extremaratio.com only). This allows the holster to be attached not only to belts, but also to pockets, pants, jackets, shirts and t-shirts. ULTICLIP gives the possibility to position the knife vertically and horizontally and enables more accessible use for left-handed and right-handed people. All three versions of the Satre come with a black fairing. A desert scabbard can be purchased as an extra. The full-tang skeletonized structure allows the knife to be customized using Paracord as a handle cover. The Satre is available in three versions with two different types of steel: The Black and Stone Washed versions are made of Böhler N690 heat-treated steel to 58 HRC. This material was chosen for its resistance to oxidation, for the durability of its edge and, above all, for its proven reliability over the years. The Black S600 is instead made from Böhler S600 steel. This steel is used to make locksmith and press tools. It has excellent properties in terms of hardness, wear resistance and toughness due to the presence of molybdenum, tungsten and a significant addition of vanadium to its chemical composition. The presence of cobalt stimulates the growth of small, evenly distributed carbides that increase wear resistance. Satre S600 is thermally and cryogenically treated to obtain an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC. This also makes it very resistant to wear and tear and provides a permanent sharpening of the blade. Böhler S600 has 4.5% chromium, making it oxidizable. For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP DARK finish. Due to its extreme hardness and resistance to wear and abrasion, this steel is not easy to sharpen. We recommend using our Double Grain Sharpener to keep the edge of your Satre extremely sharp at all times.
