Created by AG Russell of Rogers, AR, the Sting™ demonstrates the attention to detail of one of the inventors of the modern knife industry. After all, despite all his awards and achievements, he is above all a custom knife maker.

The virtually indestructible spearhead blade begins life as an ordinary 1055 carbon steel blank, similar to the alloy used in traditional samurai swords. It is then hot forged and precisely ground into the final shape. Double blades give you double the protection and double the position. We then apply a black non-reflective powder coating to resist corrosion in tactical environments as demanding as yours.

Grip the handle and feel how it’s perfectly shaped to fit your bare or gloved hand. Note its height, balance, and thumb stops for grip. There’s even a large lanyard hole so you can use it with a lanyard on your wrist or carry it like a neck knife. When it comes to defense, this blade means business.

The CRKT® Sting™ comes with a custom nylon quilted case with a glass reinforced nylon insert and a strap option for versatile gear attachment or a clip to attach to a belt, backpack or boot. Wherever it sits on your device, it won’t sit there for long.
