With the Marfione Custom Matrix R you get top materials, precision workmanship, excellent ergonomics and fit to the hand and finish. It has a great ergonomic feel in the hand and a perfectly balanced design. The shape of the blade is excellent – providing plenty of belly for slicing, a well-reinforced tip for stabbing, and a way to open the thumb slot in addition to the fin tab. The large slot in the blade drastically reduces the weight to something very manageable for its impressive size. The size is ideal if you prefer a larger EDC blade that can easily flex into a tactical role. The handle is beautifully machined titanium with a popular electrically charged etched finish that Tony is calling Galactic Acid right now. It comes with a bronze titanium glass breaker on the back end and an intricately milled matching backspacer with a small lanyard hole. The M390 stainless steel blade gives you the option of using a flipper mechanism or a blood groove to open the blade, and either works equally well.
