The Squid Compact is an everyday carry folding knife from designer Lucas Burnley of Bend, Oregon. Based on the concept of a compact pistol, it has small dimensions and great capabilities. Don’t let the 1.75” blade fool you; This is a full-featured, tactically inspired knife that is ready to take on your biggest cutting challenges. By being designed in a drop point style, Burnley was able to give the blade a good balance of point strength and point geometry for utility tasks, packing all the features of a full-size tactical into an easy-to-carry, compact design.
Like any good gun, you want something that will keep you safe. That’s why the Squid Compact is built with Assisted Opening innovation. Slide the blade part way open and the assisted opening is activated, snap it open at super high speed and the frame lock holds it firmly in place.
So go ahead and take this gun with you wherever you go. Just remember, it’s loaded.
