Born to a knife-loving father, Jon Graham of Cleveland, Tennessee was taught the importance of a good knife at a young age. “I got my first knife when I was seven and I haven’t been without one since.” At the end of the 80’s years ago when Jon was stationed at Aviaono AB Italy, he discovered handmade knives in a magazine and knew it was something he wanted to do. After getting out of the Air Force and settling into a job, Jon started making tabletop knives with basic tools in 1994. Tired of making other people’s designs, Jon asked his brother Josh in 1999 to get some equipment and learn how to make knives by scrapping. He’s been hooked ever since, constantly striving to improve his designs and skills, building on his experience as a diesel engine technician. Graham Knives specializes in utilitarian tactical designs with an emphasis on fixed-blade EDC pocket knives, but his favorite line of knives is the custom double-edged Razel, which the company makes in many sizes and styles. He is the designer of the CRKT Razel and Folding Razel.
