As the son of a legendary knifemaker, Kenny Onion is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves and getting his hands dirty in the shop. Growing up in Hawaii, he spent countless hours with his famous father, Ken Onion, building elaborate projects like gas scooters and potato launchers. It was this sense of curiosity and love of design that led Kenny to pursue a career as a maker and machinist. He spent the better part of a decade mastering CAD and working with his father and fellow knifemaker Jeff Park to produce graphics on their knives using fiber optic lasers. Kenny’s first production knife, the Bamboozled™, is a testament to his refined aesthetic and his father’s subtle influences—while standing in its own right as a legend in the making.
