REMATE – in the hunting tradition of Spain, Portugal and southern France, a knife worn by hunters when hunting wild boar with dogs. REMATE literally means “to complete”. This word refers to all double-edged knives whose blade length exceeds 17 cm – in France, they include bayonet-type knives. 1.4116, X50CrMoV15 – molybdenum vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by relatively high hardness as in stainless steels. Resistant to corrosion in kitchen conditions. It is a recommended alternative to the material 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13.
