Closing Knife Andre De Villiers SCAVENGER BLUE/SATIN/BRONZE
As far as folding knives go, there isn’t much to compare to Andre De Villiers and Rike Knives’ Scavenger integral fin. It’s truly unlike anything else we’ve worn, for several reasons, each of which has to do with its intimidating appearance. We’ve never seen an overall design so intricately milled, with a unique theme so perfectly executed. The spine of the knife has been designed to mimic the skeletal structure of stacked vertebrae, and this even carries over into the unique bone pocket clip. This knife feels incredible in the hand, has an extremely solid build quality and opens with authority; Scavenger is here to make a statement!
Generally when you see knives like this they tend to sacrifice quality for aesthetics but that is not 100% the case with the Scavenger. This knife is a true ADV piece that is built to take a beating and look good doing it. When Andre was looking for a manufacturer for this design, he had a few different options and decided to go with Rike Knives because they were able to deliver the exact quality he was looking for. Andre didn’t want a standard manufacturing component here, he wanted a knife that would rival his mid-tech in quality and it had to be integral. This project has been a long, long time coming and we think Rike knocked it out of the park with this one. It is a unique design superbly made to be a versatile EDC or tactical knife that you can 100% rely on with your life.
