Frank Beltrame Stiletto knives, completely handmade according to the principles of Italian craftsmanship, have become world famous for their extreme lightness and strength. Thanks to its characteristics, the Italian dagger is suitable for any environment, from hunting to camping. Robust, durable construction, strong opening spring head is the hallmark of classic Italian Frank Beltrame spring knives.

Spring – special attention is paid to the design of the springs (stainless steel): the opening of the blade must take place within a few hundredths of a second (feature of Stiletto knives). After opening the Beltrame folder, a characteristic sound (click) is produced, which distinguishes it from other spring knives.

Lock – protects against accidental folding or opening. The automatic knife is opened using a fixed button located on the handle.

Blade – extremely sharp with a Spear Point profile, 3.5 mm thick with a short false blade to increase penetrating properties. Made of stainless steel AISI 420 MA5M, easy to grind, characterized by high resistance to corrosion. Hardened steel 56 HRC. Smooth type blade with flat ground for good cutting and penetration properties.

The handle is made of black plastic. Finish with polished nickel rivets provides a comfortable and secure grip. Safety is increased by the ergonomic shape of the handle, which prevents the hand from slipping while working. Brass rivets.

Beltrame knives have been made in Italy since 1953. The company was founded by Frank Beltram. The secret of making these Stiletto knives is part of Maniago’s history, which has been passed down from father to son. As a small boy, Frank helped in his father’s factory, where he later began working as his father’s apprentice. In addition, he attended a school of traditional cutlery, where he learned all about different materials, the latest processing technologies and different design styles. In 1958, Frank and his family started making automatic knives. A year after Frank’s father died of a heart attack while working at the factory, Frank founded the company Beltrame. In the following years, he continued to study and research knives, suitable materials and design. After a short time, cheap imitations from Taiwan appeared on the market, traditional Italian Stiletto knives. So Frank had to face a new problem. Fortunately, the quality of these inexpensive knives speaks for itself, every collector knows that there is no way to compare them to a genuine Beltrame dagger. Beltrame knives have won the recognition of the most demanding customers in the world thanks to Frank’s passion for these knives. When making knives, he uses his many years of experience, which he acquired at an early age. In 2005, Beltrame knives received the Maniago quality certificate, with which they exceeded European quality standards. This means that these knives are tested for material quality every year.
