Closing Knife CRKT Squid Stonewashed 2486
Designed by Lucas Burnley, this everyday carry knife is compact in stature but packs a punch in the function department. Comes with frame lock for security and assisted opening for super quick deployment. Be careful where you point it.
The Squid Compact is an everyday carry folding knife from designer Lucas Burnley of Bend, Oregon. Based on the concept of a compact pistol, it has small dimensions and great capabilities. Don’t let the 1.75″ blade fool you; this is a full-featured, tactical-inspired knife that’s ready to take on your biggest cutting challenges. Being designed in a drop-point style, the Burnley has managed to give the blade a good balance between tip strength and tip geometry for utility tasks, combining all the features of a full-size tactical into an easy-to-carry, compact design.
Like any good gun, you want something that will keep you safe. That’s why the Squid Compact is built with Assisted Opening innovation. Slide the blade partially open to activate the assisted opening, snap it open at super high speed and the frame lock holds it firmly in place.
So go ahead and take this gun with you wherever you go. Just remember, it’s loaded.
How assisted opening works
It’s held securely closed in the pocket, but initiate deployment and the blade opens with impressive speed for a simple, powerful one-handed opening in the spin portion.
Assisted Opening Flipper quickly unfolds the blade
The high carbon stainless steel blade holds the edge well
Friction grooves on the blade for gripping
G10 and stainless steel handle will withstand heavy use
Pocket clip ensures secure carrying
Lanyard hole for a key ring or pendant
