Spartan Blades produces four special edition Spartan Harsey Folders each year. The special edition for 2022 is the Koi Fish 2022 edition. Both Mark and Curtis, the founders of Spartan Blades, spent several years working in Asia and living in Japan. This knife was meant to represent the incredible Japanese culture. One of the things we loved about Japan is the way they combine ancient and modern ways to create efficiency and order for people and their daily lives. We hope to achieve this by combining modern materials with artwork that is classically Japanese.

Designed by prolific knife maker William W. Harsey Jr., the Spartan Harsey Folder (SHF) is a reliable frame knife that is made entirely of 6AL-4V titanium except for the blade and stop pin.
