The Halfachance™ is a massive solid survival parang blade designed by award-winning custom knife maker Ken Onion of Kaneohe, HI to be durable, strong and work like an ox. The strong carbon steel blade has a black powder coating that is durable in extreme environments. Built for heavy duty use, it easily gains an edge in the terrain once you’ve carved your way out of the depths of the jungle.

Half the battle in any survival situation is with your own physical exhaustion. To prevent this, the double injection molded handle is ergonomically designed to reduce hand fatigue and has multiple rope holes for different grip options. The result is more efficient slicing when you need to cut your own path. Literally.

This parang features a reinforced nylon sheath with a unique velcro loop system that can be changed between two positions: hanging or attached to the belt. An additional paracord pendant attaches to the scabbard for emergencies or tying this pair to a pack, truck or mule.
