The Hissatsu™ Folder was designed by James Williams of Encinitas, CA for when military special operations or security professionals are in an environment where they must be discreet to ensure their own safety. Firing loud firearms or carrying large blades while performing high-risk tasks is not always the answer. Now there’s an alternative: Hissatsu™ Folder. This tactical folding knife can be hidden in a pocket or conveniently clipped under a jacket and used later for plenty of defensive power.

The blade shape is a classic samurai tip design that provides excellent penetrating power and exceptional cutting performance. It features a premium AUS 8 stainless steel blade for optimal strength and edge-holding ability with good corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, a non-reflective black coating helps keep a low profile during dark conditions. With a blade length of 3.875” it is safely under the legal limit in most jurisdictions, but the performance is much higher.

Just like you, the knife is ready to go into mission mode thanks to our patented Outburst® spring-loaded opening mechanism. It then automatically locks in the open position thanks to our automatic insert safety. This is lock insert security innovation taken to the next level. The automated insert lock sets the pin between the lock insert and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of security, making it less likely that the locking insert will come loose during use.

To close the knife, pull back the safety lever with the red button, move the locking insert and fold the blade to the closed position. Something good to keep in mind when bad guys are breathing down your neck, face, or anywhere they’re too close. To comply with legal regulations, the Outburst® spring mechanism can be easily disabled with a single set screw.

The handle also has a few tricks up its sleeve with a rugged InterFrame construction with stainless steel inserts that lock on one side and black glass-reinforced nylon scales that are textured to provide a secure grip. The thumb disc allows quick opening with either hand, and the custom black stainless steel clip can be quickly and easily mounted right or left handed with a single screw, creating a knife that is truly ambidextrous.
