Description
Closing knife CRKT KITH 6433.
Known. Just like an old friend. The Kith is designed by veteran knifemaker Ken Steigerwalt, who took inspiration from traditional center links and backfolds to create a whole new approach with the front lock design. Intuitively constructed, opening the blade feels secondary, giving this knife’s Old English name for “friend” a completely different meaning.
Master knifemaker Ken Steigerwalt of Orangeville, Pennsylvania reinvents traditional locking mechanisms with Kith’s front lock feature, which uses knife inserts as springs to create more space for the blade. Based on these tried and true lock designs, the strategically placed thumb pin and front blade lock allow easy opening and closing with your preferred hand – achieving complete ambidextrous freedom.
With a 2.95” blade with a thin and robust tip, the Kith adapts to work with greater precision. Inspired by the classic micarta rag look, the handle maintains a simple and clean aesthetic that also allows for multiple grip and carry options. Checking the durability and lightness of both boxes, this low-profile men’s knife has a glass-reinforced nylon handle, making it a great everyday carry that won’t weigh on you or your pocket.
Plain and simple: Kith is a familiar, everyday favorite.
