Fixed Knife Muela BISON-9.OL

BISON-9.OL is an ingeniously made hunting knife with full tang construction. Perfectly balanced, designed for hunting enthusiasts, it functions as a universal knife. Made of MoVa molybdenum vanadium steel.

1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) – molybdenum vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by relatively high hardness as in stainless steels. Resistant to corrosion in kitchen conditions. It is a recommended alternative to the material 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13. The chemical composition is enriched with the content of chromium, molybdenum and the addition of vanadium.

Blade – Clip Point type, thickness 3.6 mm, with good mechanical properties and a long focus. The plain blade was made with a hollow grind (Hollow Grind). Satin finish (semi-matte) eliminates glare. A knurled thumb ramp (on the back of the blade) and a profiled Finger Choil undercut between the handle and blade increase knife control.

Handle – ergonomic, profiled under the palm provides a perfect grip when working. Scales made of olive wood. The rivets for fixing the cover are steel. At the back of the handle was placed a spaced interlaced leather strap.

Case – extended, protecting the blade with part of the handle. Made of brown leather with an embossed company logo, snap closure. The scabbard was sewn on the edges with decorative thread. Attachment to a belt or attachment allows the knife to be carried in a vertical position.
