Steel

1.4116, X50CrMoV15 – molybdenum vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by relatively high hardness as in stainless steels. Resistant to corrosion in kitchen conditions. It is a recommended alternative to 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13. The chemical composition is enriched with chromium content, additions of molybdenum and vanadium.
Blade

Extremely sharp Drop Point shape ideal for all types of field work. Black PTFE coating on the blade prevents glare. The plain blade is Hollow Grind for lower weight and excellent cutting performance. A large notch makes focusing easier. The back of the blade has a knurled finger ramp (jimping) for greater knife control.
Handle

Made of black micarta (compressed canvas with synthetic resin). Beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for a comfortable grip. The covers were bolted directly to the yoke, making the overall structure very stiff and durable. The shaped handle provides good control of the knife. On the back there is a hole for a lanyard, an opening for a safety or decorative lanyard.
Scabbard

Hand-stitched, made of natural leather in black with an embossed manufacturer’s logo. It is mounted on a belt or on a device that allows the knife to be carried in a vertical or horizontal position.
