1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) – molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. It is used to make knives, quality cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by relatively high hardness, as in stainless steels 57-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel was enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium, 0.80% molybdenum, 0.20% vanadium.

The steel was subjected to cryogenic treatment (heat treatment at negative temperatures), so-called CRYO-T, also known as freezing. Thanks to CRYO-T, we obtain a homogeneous internal steel structure, which translates into a significant increase in the strength of the blade, an increase in resistance to impact, tension and twisting.

Blade – Drop Point shape, thickness 4.5 mm, ideal for all types of woodworking. The satin smooth Plain blade is made with a flat grind (Flat Grind), which reduces weight and is characterized by good mechanical properties including long-lasting sharpness. The enlarged projection acts as a guard to protect the hand from slipping on the blade.

Handle – in brown color. Made of micarta canvas, a composite material of cotton or linen pressed under pressure with synthetic resin. Beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for a comfortable grip. There is a lanyard hole in the back of the handle, an enlarged hole with a paracord cord woven into it.

Scabbard – extended, protecting the blade together with part of the handle. Hand-stitched, made of the highest quality brown cowhide with an embossed manufacturer’s logo. The edges of the case are sewn with decorative thread. Prym type snap closure. Attaching to a belt or device allows the knife to be carried in a vertical position.
