Fixed Knife Muela RANGER-14R

Ranger Bowie Pakkawood, Satin is a universal knife with a fixed blade from the Spanish company Muela, made of molybdenum-vanadium steel (MoVa). This solid blade can be used for all types of work, in all conditions without damage. This knife will be great for survival trips, caping and also for out of town trips.

X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) – molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. It is used in the manufacture of knives, cutting edge cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a relatively high hardness for stainless steels of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel was enriched by doping 15.0% chromium, 0.80% molybdenum, 0.20% vanadium.

Blade – sharp Bowie type 3.6 mm thick, covered with a non-reflective Satin Finish (semi-matt) layer that eliminates glare. Smooth blade (Plain). The blade was made with a concave grind (Hollow Grind). ensuring good cutting properties. There is a brass one-sided hedge on the heel of the blade to prevent the hand from slipping down the blade.

Handle – coated with natural wood pakka (laminate) in brown color, finished with a brass head. Profiled handle provides a safe and secure grip. The knife fits very well in the hand, does not slip, and can be easily controlled in all conditions.

Scabbard – hand-stitched, made of high-quality brown cowhide with an embossed manufacturer’s logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Prym type snap closure. The belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
