The Muela Rhino-16BF sports knife is a limited edition / collection knife, designed and made especially for knife lovers with excellent and exclusive materials such as deer antler used for the handle.
The handle of the Muela Rhino-16BF sports knife is made of deer antler, an incredibly detailed and durable material. Deer antlers fall off in the winter and grow back in the spring, so there is no cruelty in the use of this material, which has long been used in the manufacture of hand knives.
The tip of the blade is curved, which prevents piercing the animal’s skin when cutting and makes it easier to remove the skin. Its blade is made of X50CrMoV15 “MOVA” (1.4116), a classic Muela knife material, which is an excellent combination of molybdenum and vanadium, forming a steel with excellent hardness and corrosion resistance.
Muela has been producing exclusive knives, pocket knives and razors since 1950 in Spain and is a reference in cutlery worldwide. Thanks to specially selected materials such as martensitic steel used in the blades and deer antlers used in some models, they are shaped and finished with excellent work that combines modern machinery with an artisanal method. All products are handled by experienced cutters who finish each piece by hand.
