The brilliant blue of the anodized aluminum handle is a fade and scratch resistant color that is permanently bonded to aluminum – so it looks good now and will look good for a long time to come. CPM-MagnaCut – This high performance steel allows the knife to keep the blade very sharp for a longer period of time.

Whether you’re left-handed or right-handed, it’s easy to open the blue gradient knife with the SpeedSafe assisted opening. Simply pull back on the double sided fin blade tab or push out on the thumb peg and the Leek blade is ready to go. For safety, the locking insert keeps the blade locked open during use, and the Tip-Lock slider locks it closed when the knife is closed. The pocket clip is reversible for fold-down or fold-down wear, and the handle is drilled for lanyard attachment.

Function:
Fin – Can be used on manual or assisted opening knives. The “Flipper” is a protrusion on the back of the blade that the user can pull back or flip to easily slide the blade out of the handle.
SpeedSafe® – Helps you quickly and easily open any SpeedSafe® knife with a manual push of the thumb or pull of the flipper; built into many of Kershaw’s bestsellers.
Insert Lock – Locks the blade in the open state during use; one side of the steel “insert”, the steel plate to which the handle weights are attached, moves into position behind the blade to secure the opening.
Reversible – Pre-drilled holes in the handle allow the user to change the position of the tip or the side on which the knife is carried.
