Albatros is an EDC pocket knife from Maxac named after the famous sea bird. Made of durable and reliable materials. The blade has a Clip-Point profile and is made of premium M390 steel. Blade lock mechanism – Slip-Joint. The handle is titanium with Timascus, reliable and ergonomic. There is no clip, the knife is only equipped with a lanyard hole at the back of the handle.
The blade is made of M390 steel. This is a premium powder martensitic steel with a high chromium and vanadium content. It is produced by the world-famous Austrian concern Bohler – Uddeholm AG. This steel is recognized as one of the best in the world for its wear resistance, high anti-corrosion properties, excellent strength and toughness. Currently, it is a very popular material and is successfully used in the production of premium series knives, as well as io and author models. The blades of this steel are hardened to 58-62 HRC. It has excellent cutting edge strength.
The handle is made of titanium Carbon Fiber. Titanium is a material with excellent properties. It is relatively strong, tough and light compared to other popular metals used in knife handles. The titanium alloy handle is heat-resistant, physically inert and non-oxidizing. Externally, the titanium handles look luxurious and perfectly complement the blade steel of any brand.
