Description

Zealot is an EDC knife model from Maxac. The knife is made of reliable materials – the Drop-Point blade is made of K110 steel, while the handle is made of G-10 fiberglass. Axial assembly is carried out on a ball bearing. For easy portability, the manufacturer provides a pocket clip that allows you to attach the knife to your belt or pocket.

The blade is made of K110, a cold-formed high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel of the Austrian-Swedish concern Bohler-Uddeholm obtained by electroslag remelting. This steel has a complex interesting composition, holds thin angles, has significant hardness and has high toughness. A typical hardness range is 59-62 HRc.

The handle is made of fiberglass G10 – a composite material based on glass fiber and epoxy resin. During the manufacturing process, the fiberglass is impregnated with resin, then it is pressed. The result is a material that performs well in adverse conditions. G10 is durable and impact resistant, moisture tolerant and dyes well. Outwardly, it is very similar to micarta, but surpasses it in strength and fire resistance.
