Ultratech will forever set the standard for all front knives. The Ultratech is Microtech’s original double action front knife and was the basis of their entire OTF line. It has undergone several modifications over the years, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. The Ultratech spring remains in the “rest” position at all times, except when stretched. This ensures that the compressed spring does not tire, assuring users that when the knife is fired, it will perform effectively. Ultratech can take many different forms; it can be finished with a standard machined aluminum plate or a piece of carbon fiber or G10. Ultratech’s lightweight one-handed opening and closing, slim design and scalpel-sharp blade make it a unique knife only available from Microtech. This knife has proven time and time again that it can withstand any obstacle. Only time will tell what the next step will be for the Ultratech line.
