Description
Closing Knife Microtech Socom Bravo 260-8CFTI.
The Microtech Socom Bravo Titanium Carbon Folding Knife is a gem among folding knives in every way. High-quality blade material (M390) is a priority in fulfilling the cutting function of the knife. Collect this SRPS material III. generation is carrying firewood into the forest, but it is No. 1 among blade materials at the moment. The shape of the blade (newly conceived drop point) with a pronounced negative pressure groove (“blood” groove) goes hand in hand with the material. The stone wash blade is equipped with opening pins on both sides, but the knife is intended for “right-handed”. Grinding both the facet and the tip is manual work and fully fulfills the cutting and penetration functions. The bearing of the blade in the ceramic bearing and in the case made of beryllium bronze lacks visible play even after rough handling (the bearing of the case is probably press-fit – a ten-micron overlap!). The handle is the unification of structural design (application of a workpiece made of 3D Titanium, reinforced with carbon inserts, for a better feeling when gripping), practicality (roughening of the back for an easier and firmer grip of the knife during pressure cutting, hole for paracord attachment), ergonomics (comfortable grip despite edges and guide groove of the opening thumb) and strength (protection of the titanium spring of the lock against the impact of the blades). All the mentioned attributes place the presented folding knife at the top of contemporary knifemaking.
