Microtech’s Ultratech dual action front automatic knife sets the standard for this category. This version has a blue anodized and molded handle and satin finish, CTS-204P, double-edged blade.

Blade: The dagger features a majestic satin finish and double smooth standard cutting edges at the top and bottom. The blade of the dagger with a fine point is made of first-class American stainless steel CTS-204P. The 3.44 inch blade has a double action opening and closing mechanism. Simply move the thumb slider on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. The internal spring stays still in both open and closed positions to reduce wear. The action is smooth and fast.

Handle: Smooth, blue anodized 6061-T6 aluminum has contoured edges that create not only a comfortable feel in the hand, but also a smooth transition into and out of the pocket. There are several areas of machine-grooved texture around the outers to aid grip. This lighter and more ergonomic handle is easy on the hands and eyes. The handle construction is completed with Microtech’s patented hardware, a glass breaking end and a jetted pocket clip with an individual serial number / date of manufacture.

It is worn in the right hand, the pocket clip only flips out.

CTS-204P: High strength powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, the steel contains a large amount of extremely hard vanadium carbides that provide excellent wear resistance. CTS-204P has one of the highest chromium contents of high vanadium stainless steels currently available. The chromium-rich matrix provides excellent corrosion resistance. Analogues to the CTS-204P include the CPM-20CV and the Bohler M390.

The fine point, dagger blade is made from premium, American, CTS-204P Stainless Steel. The 3.44 inch blade features a double action opening and retracting mechanism. Simply move the thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear. The action is smooth and fast.
