Solid Knife Muela BISON-9NL.

The BISON-9NL is a compact, artfully crafted hunting throwing knife with a fixed blade and full-tang design. Perfectly balanced, designed for hunters, it works as a universal knife. Made of molybdenum vanadium steel MoVa.

1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) – molybdenum vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by relatively high hardness as in stainless steels. Resistant to corrosion in kitchen conditions. It is a recommended alternative to the material 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13. The chemical composition is enriched with the content of chromium, molybdenum and the addition of vanadium.

Blade – Clip Point type, thickness 3.6 mm with good mechanical properties and long-lasting sharpness. The Plain blade was made with a concave cut (hollow cut). The Satin Finish (semi-matte) finish eliminates glare. A serrated thumb ramp (on the back of the blade) and a finger choke, a profiled undercut to the index finger between the handle and the blade increase the knife’s maneuverability.

Handle – ergonomic, profiled under the palm provides a perfect grip when working. Linings in brown color are made of exotic hard rosewood. The rivets for fixing the cover are steel. At the back of the handle was placed a spaced interlaced leather strap.

Case – extended, protects the head with part of the handle. Made of brown leather with embossed company logo, snap closure. The scabbard was sewn on the edges with decorative thread. Belt or gear attachment allows the knife to be carried in a vertical position.
