Designed by Tu Lam and Curtis Iovite, this knife is inspired by the philosophy of “Shinto”, which means combining the ways of the old with the ways of the new, as a testament to functionality and craftsmanship.

Renowned Designer: Co-designed by Tu Lam, a retired special forces soldier from the founders of Spartan Blades. Tu Lam’s background as a “Green Beret” and his extensive experience in military and law enforcement training make him a respected authority in the field.

Military and Law Enforcement Training: Tu Lam is the driving force behind RONIN Tactics, Inc., an organization that trains elite military and law enforcement units worldwide in close combat and knife techniques. His expertise is further showcased as co-host of The History Channel’s television series “Forged in Fire, Knife or Death.”

Blade Construction: The Spartan-Rōnin Shintō boasts a solid re-curved blade made from high performance CPM S45VN steel. A double deep cryo heat treatment ensures durability, while a physical vapor deposition (PVD) finish, available in Flat Black or Flat Dark Earth, adds a tactical edge.

Excellence Handle: The handle is made of Black CE Canvas Micarta®, which provides a secure and comfortable grip even in demanding conditions.

Scabbard Options: Choose between a padded nylon MOLLE holster (available in Black, Coyote Tan or MultiCam) for versatile carry options or a Kydex belted holster (available in Black or Coyote Tan) for a secure and efficient carry.
